Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film (ITFS) is an Oscar-qualifying festival which offers directors, production companies, distributors, talent and other professionals from the animation and games industries a platform to present their films. Interactive and transmedia works, as well as VR and AR projects, are presented to a wide audience including industry representatives. The competitions and film programs are the heart of the festival with a total of up to 90,000 € in prize money awarded by international expert juries in currently twelve competition categories.

Dates for the first ever hybrid ITFS 2021 are May 4–9, 2021. The event will be online and onsite in Stuttgart, Germany. It will feature an extensive online program.
