Animation studio Awesome Inc has launched a bat-tastic promotional and packaging campaign for the sixth and final season of FX’s Emmy-nominated comedy, What We Do In the Shadows, now streaming on Hulu.

The studio’s mission was to create a promotional package that reflects the chaos and comedy of the show’s infamous vampire roommates. “FX reached out to us to explore a variety of visual concepts and techniques to create a darkly funny send off for their popular series,” said a rep for Awesome. “We landed on an epic bat swarm using hand drawn cel animation, sneaking in bat cameos of feature characters Nadja, Laszlo and Nandor.”
