Former CEO of Tele Images, Marathon and Zodiak Media’s GTV, Philippe Alessandri has launched WatchNext Media, a next-generation production company with offices based in Paris that will focus on high-profile animation and drama projects. 

WatchNext Media aims at creating appealing characters, engaging brands and aspirational stories. The company will focus on properties which can live as TV series, apps or licensed products, all designed for the international market.

WatchNext Media caters to the audience as much as the creatives. It will address the needs of traditional broadcasters and new media while nurturing the creativity of its talents.

To assist in the development of its projects, WatchNext Media has hired Sylvain Huchet, former Development Executive at Tele Images.

The company will unveil its first three projects in animation at the forthcoming MIPTV conference.
