Anim!Arte 2011 - 10th Brazilian Student Animation Festival

The ANIM!ARTE 2011 - 10th Brazilian Student Animation Festival aims at the stimulation of culture, professional and artistic growth in the area of animation in Brazil, mainly to incite the increase of audiovisual animation productions among students. The event´s tenth edition will occur from April 29 to May 08 at the Espaço Cultural Eletrobras Furnas (Rio de Janeiro - Brazil).

Mile High Horror Film Festival 2011!

The 2011 Mile High Horror Film Festival announces its call for entries!

This coming fall, Denver, CO will once again host this independent cinematic THRILLRIDE at HIGH ALTITUDE! The festival will take place October 7-9 at the Starz Film Center.

We are planning a three-day film festival with activities, events, and most importantly independent horror films.

Submission categories include Feature Length Films, Short Films, Local Colorado Films, and ANIMATIONS!

A festival that aims to inform, train, educate and entertain by using the infinite possibilities of the language of animation.

In 2010 Anima Mundi celebrates its 18th anniversary by promoting, beyond the annual festival in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, a series of activities that are reflected in this website.

We are a not-for-profit festival celebrating the wealth of talent working across all genres of short film including live action drama, documentary, animation, music video, and broadcast design including online or mobile content, title sequences, and idents.

The work of newcomers and established filmmakers is promoted by screening work at cinemas, screening rooms and cafes throughout Soho and London’s West End.

VIEW Conference is the premiere international event in Italy on Computer Graphics, Interactive Techniques, Digital Cinema, 3D Animation, Gaming and VFX.

Through lectures, meetings, tributes, exhibits, screenings and demo presentations VIEW will reveal the new digital frontier sweeping from cinema to architecture, from automotive design to advertisement, from medicine to videogames.

The ACM Southeast Digital Animation Festival (SEDAF) showcases short films composed entirely or partially of computer-generated imagery that educate, entertain, or both! Savannah International Animation Festival 2011

Hal Miles Imagimation Studios, LLC will sponsor the 2nd Savannah International Animation Festival on February 4th and 5th, 2011. It will be held at the Coastal Georgia Center, 305 Fahm Street, Savannah, GA 31401. We are currently accepting entries via Without a Box until December 1st, 2010. Last year we had 144 entries from 15 countries. This year’s entries are already ahead of that number!
