‘Sinners’ and ‘The Penguin’ also took home trophies at the American Cinema Editors’ ceremony held this past Friday at UCLA’s Royce Hall.
American Cinema Editors (ACE) has revealed the winners for its the 76th Annual ACE Eddie Awards, recognizing outstanding editing in 14 film, television, and documentary categories, announced during the awards ceremony held this past Friday, February 27, at UCLA’s Royce Hall.
Two-time Oscar winning filmmaker Ang Lee received the ACE Golden Eddie Filmmaker of the Year Award, recognizing a filmmaker who exemplifies distinguished achievement in the art and business of film. Kim Larson, Managing Director and Head of YouTube’s Creator and Gaming team, was honored with YouTube’s ACE Visionary Award, and Emmy winning editor/director Arthur Forney, ACE, and Oscar nominated editor Robert Leighton received Career Achievement Awards for their outstanding contributions to film editing.
