Digifest is an annual festival focussing on interactive digital media. The up-coming Digifest will host a design competition called "New Voices" where New Media artists are invited to submit innovative ideas within Film, Web, 3D animation and Digital Gaming. The winners will be given the opportunity to present their work at this four day festival, as well their submission will be printed in the annual Digifest catalogue. The New Voices submission deadline is December 1, 2002. Winners will be notified in January, 2003 and the festival will be held on March 26 - 29, 2003.

The International Festival of Cinema and Technology will be continuing its touring festival in Toronto March 2003. The tour premiered in London and Paris in December 2002. The festival has a large animation and computer animation showcase which features a wide variety of projects from indie and first time filmmakers.
