Eleven award-winning acclaimed animated shorts from around the world are highlighted in national theatrical showcase beginning September 24, 2015.
Fifty-one films are selected to compete from 1,103 submissions, including Don Hertzfeldt’s ‘World of Tomorrow,’ Ainslie Henderson’s ‘Stems’ and Rosto’s ‘Splintertime.’
Highlights at OIAF 2015 include ‘World of Tomorrow’ by Don Hertzfeldt, ‘Ernie Biscuit’ by Adam Elliot, ‘Sonámbulo’ from Theodore Ushev, ‘Waves ’98’ by Ely Dagher, ‘The Simpsons’ Couch Gag and Stromae’s ‘Carmen’ by Sylvain Chomet, and ‘A Single Life’ by the Dutch trio Job, Joris & Marieke.
