Based on Mel Brooks and 20th Century Studios’ famed 1974 ‘Young Frankenstein,’ the show hails from Stefani Robinson, Taika Waititi, and Garrett Basch, with Brooks among the executive producers.
Tony Hale, Ghostface Killah, and Ming-Na Wen board the heartfelt 3DCG short film, helmed by ‘Storks’ and ‘Presto’ director Doug Sweetland, about a man overcoming depression with the help of his pug Jelly Donut’s love.
The stars join the voice cast of the newly greenlit 3DCG film that follows a man in the depths of depression, alone in his house, who finds joy again with the help of his dog, a pug; headed to MIPCOM 2024, the film is scheduled for Summer 2025 release.
Mel Brooks will return to produce the film alongside Gad; Josh Greenbaum directs from a script by Benji Samit, Dan Hernandez, and Gad.
