Fairly OddParents Holds 'American Idol-Style' Contest in Hour-Long Special

Nickelodeon's THE FAIRLY ODDPARENTS pays homage to the AMERICAN IDOL craze with its very own Idol-like singing competition in FAIRY IDOL, a one-hour special premiering May 19, 2006, at 8:00 pm. The special stars former AMERICAN IDOL contestant Diana DeGarmo, as the singing voice of her biggest fan, Cosmo. The older-skewing special repeats on Nickelodeon May 20 at 7:00 pm and May 21 at 5:00 pm.

El Capitan Celebrates 80th Anniversary with Dumbo

Hollywood's legendary El Capitan Theatre kicks off its 80th anniversary with a special two-week engagement of Disney's Oscar-winning animated classic, DUMBO, from May 25 - June 7. DUMBO is celebrating its 65th birthday this year, and a new deluxe BIG TOP EDITION DVD release of the film is scheduled for June 6th.

NBCs SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE presents a special BEST OF compilation featuring SATURDAY TV FUNHOUSE shorts by acclaimed comedian Robert Smigel on April 29, 2006, from 11:30 pm to 1:00 am on NBC. The special will be hosted by THE AMBIGUOUSLY GAY DUO. Ace and Gary (voiced by Stephen Colbert and Steve Carell).

It will feature new material starring the subtly homoerotic superheroes performing an SNL monologue as well as interacting live with the current cast throughout the show.

Goblet of Fire Ignites On DVD in March

HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE DVD will debut on March 7, 2006, from Warner Home Video. GOBLET OF FIRE will be available on a Single-Disc DVD for $28.98 in full frame and widescreen formats. The Two-Disc Special Edition DVD will be available at $30.97 and the Harry Potter Special Edition four-pack at $73.92; both in widescreen format only. The film will also be available in UMD format for PSP.

Zagreb: 17th World Festival of Animated Films is an ASIFA sanctioned competitive festival. The festival was formed in 1969 to encouraging creativity, which eschews pre-set patterns and ideas/notions/conceptions, and finds new ways of exploring the possibilities of film animation. Awards with cash prizes will be given as follows: grand prize, best first production, best student film, plus five special prizes and three special distinctions. Fully Loaded Titanic DVDs Now Available

The ultimate TITANIC DVDs were released today (Oct. 25, 2005) in a special edition, a special collectors edition and a deluxe collectors edition, courtesy of Paramount Home Ent. and Twentieth Century Fox Home Ent. International. The three-disc special collectors edition ($29.99) is available in the U.S., Japan and Korea, while the two-disc special edition is available in Europe, Australia and Latin America. The four-disc deluxe collectors edition is also available in Europe, Australia and Latin America.

On Oct. 18, 2005, Fox Home Ent. uncovers FERNGULLY: THE LAST RAINFOREST SPECIAL EDITION on DVD. Annie-Award winner for Best Animated Feature (1992), the film won the Environmental Media Associate for Best Picture (1992) and is Kids First! approved. The two-disc release includes eight all-new set-top games that feature old friends and introduce new ones.

Studio Arts of Los Angeles, CA will be host to a special group of ALIAS MAYA seminars, classes and workshops that will begin Monday, October 17th, 2005 and end Friday, December 16, 2005.

Maya instruction will be from introductory level to intermediate and advanced workshops in everything from modeling and textures to rigging, animation and more. Classes will meet from 8am-3pm Mon. through Fri.
