Character Voice Workshop

Begins: July 26, 2003

Voice coach MJ Lallo is holding a character voice workshop with special guest director Bob Remstien, musician and fantastic keyboard player. He will be playing keyboard live. Participants can bring their own sheet music. Bob Remstein is a keyboardist, composer, producer and songwriter who has been involved in many facets of music over the years. In the last few years, he has toured in Europe with the Singing Waiters, in Japan with the Mello Cads and produced the debut CD for singer/songwriter Jamie Solow.

Storyopolis Portrait Classes

Storyopolis will feature portrait drawing classes for adults beginning July 15, 2003 to be held Tuesday and Thursday evenings through July 24, 2003. This class is appropriate for both seasoned artists and beginners, and will focus on getting a good likeness using proportions, site lines and measurements from a live model. 76th Annual Academy Awards Scientific & Technical Achievement Awards

Dahlonega International Film Festival

Begins: June 27, 2002

Regarding the Competition Film, video and digital works will be judged on an equal footing. This competition is about how well your ideas are communicated on the screen more so than how high the production value. We believe that the grittiest video can be conceptually well crafted and beat out the prettiest 35mm film which is conceptually vapid. The durations are divided at the 45 minute mark for "features" and "shorts." If your film is between 40 and 46 minutes, you decide which competition category is preferable.
