Cartoon Network has shared the opening sequence and international premiere date for its upcoming animated series The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball. Produced by Hanna-Barabara Studios Europe, the series will launch on October 6 across EMEA, Latin America, APAC and on HBO Max. The main title sequence, designed by Jack Sachs, has also been unveiled
The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball continues the world created in The Amazing World of Gumball, created and executive produced by Ben Bocquelet. The quarter-hour animated comedy series blends 2D and 3D animation, CGI, puppetry, photorealism, and live-action.
Matt Layzell and Erik Fountain serve as executive producers and directors. The voice cast includes Alkaio Thiele as Gumball; Hero Hunter as Gumball’s younger brother Darwin; Kinza Syed Khan as younger sister Anais; Teresa Gallagher as his mother Nicole; and Dan Russell as his father Richard.
Starting in July and leading up to the new series’ premiere, Cartoon Network will air the best moments of The Amazing World of Gumball every day.
