The comedian will play new character Smarty Pants in the upcoming sequel, which sees Buzz, Woody, Jessie and the rest of the gang struggle against a techy new threat to playtime.
Disney has announced that comedian Conan O’Brien has joined the voice cast of Pixar’s upcoming Toy Story sequel, Toy Story 5 as the new character Smarty Pants.
O’Brien recently took to Instagram to announce the news.
In the upcoming sequel, it’s Toy meets Tech when Buzz, Woody, Jessie and the rest of the gang’s jobs get exponentially harder as they go head-to-head with this all-new threat to playtime. Further plot details are still under wraps.
Newcomer Ernie Hudson will voice Combat Carl, while Tim Allen and Tom Hanks will reprise their ionic roles as Buzz Lightyear and Woody. Joan Cusack also returns as Jessie, alongside Tony Hale as Forky and Blake Clark as Slinky Dog.
