Industry veteran joins the senior creative teams, bringing experience across major film and episodic projects and strengthening the leading visual effects studio’s global visual effects capabilities.
Leading VFX and digital production company Digital Domain has appointed VFX Supervisor and Art Director Jelmer Boskma to its senior creative team, where he will serve as a VFX Supervisor and contribute to the studio's film, episodic, and immersive production efforts.
Boskma joins the company with more than a decade of experience across high-profile film and streaming productions, including Murderbot, Star Wars: Andor, Marvel's Eternals, Ant-Man & the Wasp, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Most recently, he served as Visual Effects Supervisor at DNEG, overseeing creative and technical execution from pre-production through final delivery, including on-set supervision. Prior to that, he worked as VFX Supervisor and Art Director at Scanline VFX.
His background spans digital sculpting, creature design, matte painting, concept art, and art direction, reflecting expertise working within workflows that integrate early concept development through final execution. His work is characterized by a sophisticated approach and strong technical grounding. Boskma is a member of the Visual Effects Society and has received both Primetime Emmy and VES Award nominations.
