All-new animated family film follows a misguided designer sneaker, Ty, who knows no life outside his velvet-lined shoe box, as he braves NYC to rescue his sister shoe stolen by a shady collector; hits theaters April 18.
Briarcliff Entertainment has just shared with AWN an exclusive clip and images from their upcoming, all-new animated family feature, Sneaks, that hits theaters April 18.
Sneaks follows the adventures of Ty, a misguided designer sneaker who doesn’t know life outside the comforts of his velvet-lined shoe box. After his sister is stolen by a shady collector, Ty must venture into NYC to find and rescue her. In his adventure, Ty meets a rag-tag group of footwear friends from all walks of life who help him find the courage to step outside of his shoe box and find his “sole-mate.”
The film features new music from Grammy Winner Mustard, who also serves as Executive Music Producer. The stellar cast includes Anthony Mackie, Martin Lawrence, Swae Lee, Chloe Bailey, Macy Gray, Ella Mai, Mustard, Roddy Ricch, Quavo, Young Miko, Amirah Hall, Kiana Ledé, Bobbito Garcia, Sam Jay, Jonathan Kite, Amari McCoy, Donovan Louise Bazemore, Sky Brown Rayssa Leal, Rico Rodriguez, Will McCormack, Michael Govier, Andrew Hawkins, and Raoul the Dog with Keith David, Chris Paul, and Laurence Fishburne.
Directed by Rob Edwards and Chris Jenkins, Sneaks is written by Edwards and produced by Len Hartman, Gil Cloyd, Fishburne, Helen Sugland, Robyn Klein, Jeremy Ross, and Meko Yohannes. It’s distributed by Briarcliff Entertainment.
