Series adaptation of Tadatoshi Fujimaki’s manga about a legendary assassin stung by a wasp who awakens as a 13-year-old boy will debut on multiple platforms across North America and international territories.
DMM has confirmed that Kill Blue, the anime series adaptation of Tadatoshi Fujimaki’s Shonen Jump manga, “Kill Blue,” will premiere globally on April 11 across seven streaming platforms in North America, marking one of the widest simultaneous releases for such a show this season.
The series will be available on Netflix, Crunchyroll, Prime Video, Rakuten Viki, Plex, the It’s Anime FAST Channel (Samsung TV Plus, Vizio WatchFree+), and It’s Anime YouTube in North America, offering viewers multiple places to watch across both dedicated anime services and broader streaming platforms.

The story follows Juzo Ōgami, a 39-year-old legendary assassin who has never failed a mission. After eliminating a powerful organization, he is stung by a mysterious wasp and awakens transformed into a 13-year-old boy. Tasked by his boss to infiltrate a middle school, he must navigate an unfamiliar school life filled with classmates, chaos, and threats, while searching for a way to return to his original form.
The opening theme "Attitude" by the K-pop group aespa delivers high-energy excitement, while the ending theme "Kill Shot" by RIIZE offers a poignant, reflective complement to the story’s themes of rediscovering life and youth.
Animation production is handled by CUE. The voice cast includes Yuko Sanpei as Juzo Ōgami, Fuka Izumi as Noren Mitsuoka, Shuichiro Umeda as Kotatsu Nekota, Daisuke Sakuma as Shin Kohazame, Takeo Otsuka as Tenma Tendo, Shoya Chiba as Kazuma Rindou, Yoshiki Nakajima as Eiji Rindou, Atsumi Tanezaki as Chisato Shiraishi, Yumi Uchiyama as Eri Wanibuchi, and Shunsuke Takeuchi as the adult Juzo Ōgami.
The production team includes Hiro Kaburagi as animation supervisor and script writer, Yasunori Ide as animation director, Miho Daidoji as character designer, Taketo Gonpei as art director, Shiho Suzuki and Yoshinori Horikawa handling color setting, Shinya Matsui as director of photography, Daisuke Imai as editor, Ryo Konishi composing the music, and Shoji Hata as sound director.
