Watch the trailer! Season 5 of animated preschool series introduces the new Rescue-Webs story arc, superhero team-ups and baddie Symbie; premieres July 13 on Disney Jr. and Disney Channel, next day on Disney+.
Season 5 of Disney Jr.’s preschool series Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends premieres Monday, July 13 on Disney Jr., Disney Channel, and Disney Jr. on Demand, and the next day on Disney+, with Rocket, Groot, Mr. Fantastic and Silk joining the new season. And we have a trailer to prove it!
The season introduces the Rescue-Webs story arc, in which Team Spidey takes on more daring rescues with a new Spidey-themed firetruck and rescue gear. Along the way, the team will join forces with Rocket, Groot, Mr. Fantastic and Silk.
Rocket, voiced by Trevor Devall, and Groot, voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson, return to help Team Spidey and will make multiple appearances throughout the season. Mr. Fantastic, voiced by Mario Lopez, uses his ingeniousness and stretching powers to tactfully help Team Spidey beat the baddies. Silk, voiced by Avelyn Choi, swings into action using her powerful ricochet webs to save the day.
Season 5 also introduces Symbie, an adorably cute symbiote baddie who wreaks havoc on Team Spidey. Symbie made his official Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends debut in the Meet Symbie short released on Disney Jr. YouTube on May 1, ahead of the new “Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends” #1 CGD 2026 comic book.
Meet Symbie and nine new Meet Spidey and his Amazing Friends shorts are now available on Disney Channel and Disney Jr. and will premiere tomorrow on Disney+. The shorts will also roll out on Disney Jr. YouTube and Marvel HQ YouTube.
All episodes of the first four seasons are available to stream on Disney+.
Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends follows Peter Parker, Gwen Stacy and Miles Morales as they team up with Super Heroes to defeat foes and learn that teamwork is the best way to save the day.
In 2025, the series crossed 1 billion hours streamed on Disney+ globally and was the No. 2 most-watched streaming series for kids and boys 2-5, behind Bluey. Its popularity extends off-screen as well: in 2025, Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends was the No. 3-selling overall preschool toy license globally, according to Circana. A new lineup of Rescue-Webs-inspired toys, including a Symbie Factory Playset from Hasbro, will be available at major retailers later this summer.
Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends is produced by Disney Jr. and Marvel Studios in association with Atomic Cartoons. Harrison Wilcox, Bart Jennett and Chris Moreno are executive producers, alongside Becca Topol, who serves as producer/story editor, and Steve Grover as supervising producer. Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy is the series’ songwriter/composer.
