The animated show, based on the NFT brand franchise, will follow four dinosaur friends who live on a mysterious island.
Mediawan Kids & Family has partnered with the NFT brand Claynosaurz Inc. to co-produce an animated series based on the digital franchise, according to Variety.
The Claynosaurz series will follow four dinosaur friends who live on a mysterious island. Jesse Cleverly, co-founder and creative director of Mediawan’s Wildseed Studios, will serve as showrunner.
Claynosaurz co-creator Nicholas Cabana said the franchise was crafted by a “group of artists from all sorts of studios, including Illumination, DreamWorks, Sony, Disney and Ubisoft.”
“I think it’s the very first time a digital collectible brand is expanded into a TV series so it’s a milestone, not just for Mediawan Kids & Family but for the industry,” said Julien Borde, Mediawan Kids & Family president.
The series will launch on Youtube and will also be available for licensing. Nicolas Fisch produces alongside Katell France for Method Animation (The Little Prince), a Mediawan label. Claynosaurz released an origin story trailer and backstory in 2023.
