New Trailer, Theme Song Drop for ‘Dan Da Dan’ Season 2

New season kicks off with the theatrical premiere of ‘Dan Da Dan: Evil Eye’ in Asia on May 30, North America on June 6, and Europe on June 7; series streams globally July 3.

Mainichi Broadcasting System has released a new trailer for Dan Da Dan ahead of its theatrical and streaming launch. The trailer features a tease of the upcoming opening theme song “On The Way,” written by the hit J-Pop artist AiNA THE END. Watch it below.

“In ‘On The Way,’ I poured my heart into creating music that captures the bittersweet emotions of love while fighting and running to protect what is most important,” said AiNA THE END. “The song also represents the feelings of Momo and Okarun, and I hope that it can serve as a source of encouragement for those who are feeling lost.”

With production from Science SARU (DEVILMAN crybaby, Scott Pilgrim Takes Off), Season 2 is co-directed by Fuga Yamashiro and Abel Gongora. Composer kensuke ushio (Chainsaw Man, DEVILMAN crybaby) returns to produce the score.

Dan Da Dan: Evil Eye kicks off the eerie “Evil Eye” arc, which began in the last episode of the first season. The theatrical event will screen last season’s start of the arc, along with the first three episodes of Season 2, in addition to an exclusive interview with the series co-directors.

The sci-fi comedy romance anime series is an adaptation of the manga from Yukinobu Tatsu, which is currently serialized in “Shonen Jump Plus” by SHUEISHA.

Dan Da Dan: Evil Eye, the theatrical premiere of the upcoming Dan Da Dan Season 2 hits theaters on May 30 in Asia, June 6 in North America, and June 7 in Europe. The series begins streaming worldwide July 3 on ADN, Crunchyroll, Hulu, Muse, Netflix and other platforms.
