The ‘A Beautiful Night in the Neighborhood’ experience, which includes images of Mister Rogers and characters from the ‘Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood’ animated series, will follow the final out of the New York Mets vs. Pirates game on June 27 at PNC Park.
The Pittsburgh Pirates Major League Baseball team has partnered with Fred Rogers Productions for “A Beautiful Night in the Neighborhood,” a Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood and Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood themed drone experience. The show will follow the final out of the New York Mets vs. Pirates game on June 27 at PNC Park.
The light display, presented by Duquesne Light Company, will include images of Mister Rogers alongside characters from the Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood animated series.

Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood is currently in its seventh season on PBS Kids. It is produced by Fred Rogers Productions and 9 Story Media Group and animated by Brown Bag Films. Executive producers are Angela C. Santomero, creator of the series; Ellen Doherty, chief creative officer at Fred Rogers Productions; and Vince Commisso, president & CEO, 9 Story Media Group.
