Players can actively participate in the ‘Fizzy's Lunch Lab’ world via the new immersive experience, which fosters food-focused fun for kids.
Pretty Amazing, a direct offshoot of award-winning animation and motion design studio, Hero4Hire Creative, has announced Food Tower Defense, an immersive Roblox game based on their series Fizzy's Lunch Lab.
“When people remember Fizzy's Lunch Lab, they often recall the immensely popular PBS Kids games, and to this day we get requests from fans to bring those experiences back,” said Evan Sussman, Pretty Amazing co-CEO. “We are beyond thrilled to now bring a Fizzy's game back, specifically leveraging a platform like Roblox. This allows us to truly engage a new generation right where they are.”
“The digital landscape offers incredible opportunities for Fizzy's Lunch Lab to reach millions more children, but our mission extends beyond screens,” added Allison Dressler Kramer, co-CEO of Pretty Amazing. “We are actively looking for partners to help us not only create more of the engaging content families love, but also to develop programs that can bring our food literacy lessons directly into schools.”
Pretty Amazing has also secured AVOD and FAST distribution for the series, expanding its reach across a wide array of streaming services. The series previously earned three Daytime Emmy nominations for its approach of combining character-driven animation, songs, games, recipes, and activities to make food and nutrition exciting.
The online home for the brand, LunchLab.com, was recently relaunched as a premiere destination serving up food-focused fun for kids and caregivers, sponsored by AT&T's new digital learning platform The Achievery.
The revamped Fizzy's Lunch Lab experience, now amplified by its website, YouTube, Roblox, and extended streaming presence, offers a number of resources, including:
- Catchy songs and videos featuring Professor Fizzy and his high-tech Lunch Lab filled with colorful characters and crazy inventions.
- Engaging games (such as Food Tower Defense) that make nutrition and healthy choices exciting.
- A searchable database of over 100 kid-friendly recipes.
