Directed by Shawn Levy and starring Ryan Gosling, Flynn Gray, Aaron Pierre, Simon Bird, Jamael Westman, Daniel Ings, and Amy Adams, the upcoming standalone sci-fi adventure from Lucasfilm hits theaters May 28, 2027.
Production has officially begun on Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: Starfighter, the upcoming standalone Star Wars universe adventure helmed by Shawn Levy. Starfighter takes place approximately five years after Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
Flynn Gray, Aaron Pierre, Simon Bird, Jamael Westman, Daniel Ings, and Amy Adams have joined Ryan Gosling, Mia Goth, and Matt Smith on the flick, set in a familiar galaxy far far away.
While the official plot remains a mystery, Gosling’s character is said to protect a young charge from the Dark Side.
Kathleen Kennedy produces alongside executive producers Gosling, Dan Levine, Mary McLaglen, and Josh McLaglen.
Starfighter hits theaters May 28, 2027.
