The stop-motion animated feature Saurus City is heading to Cannes. The film boasts an all-star voice cast, including Ron Perlman (Hellboy), Emma Roberts (We’re the Millers), Dennis Quaid (The Substance), Tim Meadows (Mean Girls), Aimee Garcia (Dexter), and Julia Ormond (Sabrina). Nathan Smith (The Light Before Christmas) writes and directs.
Set in a world where dinosaurs roam alongside humans, the film follows a retired knight (Perlman) as he helps a young woman in distress (Roberts), only to uncover a threat to the entire kingdom. Hunted by the vengeful Shrouded Knight (Quaid) and his monstrous creations, the aging warrior delivers the one thing that can save them all - a baby.
Ron Brough, Cynthia Lagow, Brad Johnson, Joel Michaely, and Smith produce alongside executive producers Deena Dill, Richard Joel, Lauren Magura, Gregori J. Martin, Precious V. Mayes, Kristos Andrew, Lisa Whelan, and Simon Swart. Scott Martin, Jack Sheehan, and Michael Slifkin executive produce for Archstone. The film is from Suspended Animation Studios, 405 Productions Inc. and Bonfire Entertainment.
