‘Bob’s Burgers,’ ‘Rick and Morty,’ ‘The Simpsons,’ ‘Smiling Friends,’ ‘South Park,’ and ‘Star Wars: Visions’ are nominated for Outstanding Animated Program; main awards will be broadcast live on Monday, September 14, on NBC and stream on Peacock – Craft Awards set for September 5-6.
Nominations for the 78th Emmy Awards were announced this morning from the Saban Media Center, recognizing remarkable programs, extraordinary performances and impactful storytelling across multiple platforms. The awards ceremony will be broadcast live on Monday, September 14, on NBC and stream live on Peacock. Actor Mariska Hargitay will host the telecast. The Creative Arts Emmys, at which the majority of the Emmy awards are handed out, will take place on Saturday, September 5 and Sunday, September 6.
Among this year’s animation and VFX-driven shows, Spider-Noir, with 11, and both Fallout and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, with 9 each, led the pack with the most nominations.
