The hit anime’s 10-episode second season will feature a new chapter of redemption and revenge when it premieres on Netflix in Fall 2026.
For director Hiroyuki Imaishi and character designer Yoh Yoshinari, their story about a smart boy of low social status slowly crawling to his own demise is filled with genre-common themes of humanity’s corruption sprinkled with a small glimmer of hope, strikingly presented with a past-meets-present animation and narrative style; the 10-episode series is now streaming on Netflix.
Produced by ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ creator CD Projekt Red and Japanese animation house Studio Trigger, the anime series about a reckless street kid turned mercenary outlaw hits the streamer next month.
Based on the popular 1990’s manga ‘Spriggan’ published in the ‘Weekly Shonen Sunday,’ the Netflix Original Anime Series hits the streamer in 2022.
