Animated Feature ‘Fleak’ to Premiere at Annecy, Hit U.S. Theaters in 2026

The Fithian Group, Attend, and Impossible Dream Entertainment have partnered to release the Anima Vitae film about a boy and a strange, spirited creature who leads him on an adventure through a dreamlike realm.

Impossible Dream Entertainment has partnered with The Fithian Group and its theatrical distribution marketplace Attend for the U.S. release of Fleak. The animated feature from Anima Vitae premieres this June at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival and hits theaters in 2026.

The film is distributed in partnership with Adam Somer’s So Entertaining and Tom Malloy’s Glass House Distribution.

“Audiences are showing us they are hungry for new and engaging animated family stories,” said Jackie Brenneman, founding partner of The Fithian Group, President/CEO at Attend. “We are excited to serve U.S. movie theaters and audiences a moving story with Fleak, using our unprecedented, data-driven, distribution marketplace.”

“We’re so excited to see Fleak reach North American audiences through this exciting collaboration with The Fithian Group, Impossible Dream Entertainment, Glass House Distribution, and All Rights Entertainment,” said Antti Haikala, CEO of Anima Vitae. “We’re passionate about creating emotionally rich stories with global appeal. Having Fleak premiere at Annecy and securing a U.S. theatrical release is a proud moment for our entire team”.

In Fleak, a young boy, Thomas, feels lost after a sudden accident until he meets Fleak, a strange and spirited creature who leads him on an adventure through a dreamlike realm. When a shadow from his past emerges, Thomas must find the courage to reconnect with the people who matter most.

Produced by Finnish studio Anima Vitae (Niko – Beyond the Northern Lights), with co-production support from Poland’s Animoon and France’s Godo Films, Fleak won the Eurimages Co-Production Development Award at Cartoon Movie 2020.

International sales are handled by Paris, Hong Kong, and LA based All Rights Entertainment, which has already secured distribution deals in over 50 countries. Fleak will be released in France by KMBO on August 13.
