The preschool series, conceived as a 3D project that feels handmade, features playful learning moments with original songs using wooden piece characters; Season 2 is underway amidst a search for platform distribution.
The Frank Barton Company has launched the preschool series Pim Pam Pino on YouTube in both Spanish and English.
“For every ad campaign, we had to build a brand-new universe from scratch — only to see it disappear once the job was done,” said Ursula García, executive producer and co-director at The Frank Barton Company. “We wanted to create something that could last, something of our own. That’s how Pim Pam Pino was born: as a space where we could tell our own stories, at our own pace.”
Produced in-house and without external funding, Pim Pam Pino was conceived as a 3D project that feels handmade. Rather than focusing on lead characters, the series is built around a collection of wooden pieces. Each episode introduces playful learning moments — like counting, exploring emotions, or discovering animals — with original songs or traditional melodies using mostly wooden instruments.
“Our goal with Pim Pam Pino is to offer a respectful, screen-based learning experience that echoes the tactile richness of real-world play,” added Walter Belenky, creative director of the show. “The slow pacing, warm tones, and thoughtful music are all designed to support healthy cognitive and emotional development in young children.”
Production on Season 2 is already underway, with new episodes set to expand the series’ universe. The Frank Barton Company is currently seeking platform distribution.
You can find the show here in English and here in Spanish.
