Created by EDGLRD, Katch is a new anime-inspired action-adventure WEBTOON series that explores a hidden world beneath the sea, where a secret society hunts leviathans from the abyss. The project serves as Harmony Korine’s first in the format.
Laura Sakuraki, creator of the popular webcomic “Million Dollar Bride,” serves as illustrator. The series is colored by Ling Chen, with a prologue illustrated and colored by Daylen Seu. The project boasts a mixed-media production process that incorporates CG tools. Select chapters feature animated panels and an interactive musical score.
Katch marks the beginning of EDGLRD’s exploration of anime-inspired storytelling and hybrid digital work.
