Fathom sets February 7-8 release of feature film adaptation of the ‘Time Hoppers’ mobile game and upcoming animated series on Muslim Kids TV.
Milo Productions Inc. and Fathom Entertainment have partnered to bring the animated feature Time Hoppers: The Silk Road to U.S. theatres nationwide on February 7-8. The project is adapted from the Time Hoppers mobile game and upcoming animated series that will stream on Muslim Kids TV.
Set against the historic backdrop of the Silk Road, the film explores Muslim culture during the “Golden Age of Islam.” After each screening, audiences will be treated to exclusive behind-the-scenes footage. Time Hoppers: The Silk Road features the voice talents of Muslim-American academics and community members, such as Omar Suleiman, Dalia Mogahed, and Omar Regan (Rush Hour 2).
“Our partnership with Fathom marks a momentous milestone for Muslim storytellers,” said Milo Productions CEO, Michael Milo. “The film represents a decade-long dream of offering our community the chance to see ourselves and our shared histories on the big screen with a truly fun and values-based movie that is great for those of all ages and backgrounds. We hope Time Hoppers: The Silk Road will open doors for more Muslim voices to be heard and seen in theatres.”
“With a growing population of approximately 4.5 million nationwide by some estimates, Muslim-Americans are an important, but underrepresented part of our country’s melting pot of culture and faith,” said Ray Nutt, Fathom Entertainment CEO. “With Time Hoppers: The Silk Road, Fathom Entertainment sees a tremendous marketplace opportunity to build on its leadership position in the faith space and continue its historical success in identifying quality family-friendly content that resonates with specific audiences. Fathom is thrilled to partner with Milo Productions on Time Hoppers: The Silk Road, created by impressive talents in the Muslim-American community.”
