Directed by Kyra Buschor and Constantin Paeplow, the CG animated short is the latest chapter in the continuing story of Finn and his family for Swiss supermarket Migros’ annual campaign.
Passion Animation and Stories AG have partnered to produce Papa, the newest CG animated chapter in the story of Finn and his family for Swiss supermarket Migros.
The Christmas spot sees the cast grow, beginning with Finn as a baby and progressing to Finn becoming a dad himself. Continuing what is now a holiday tradition, the studios portray Finn’s world as more intimate in this latest film, with CG sets created to match the live-action shots that are filled with detail to capture the richness of a miniature family.
“It’s an honor to once again be trusted with this essential part of Christmas,” said directors Kyra Buschor and Constantin Paeplow. “We know audiences have grown to love Finn and his family, it was a pleasure to tell another emotional chapter in their story. This time directing the live action and working with the Passion Studio on the animation, we’re thrilled with the way each year we get to add more detail to the world, learn more about the characters and connect with audiences as a part of their own traditions”
Animation is by Wes Coman, Alan Carabantes Person, Monica Tenhuendfeld, Francisco Garcia, Stuart Doig, Sauce Vilas, and Ferran Casas.
