From the minds of ‘Solar Opposites’ EP duo Mike McMahan and Dominic Dierkes, the series, set in an extreme late-stage capitalist hellscape, follows a reluctant team of gig-workers.
Prime Video has picked up the animated comedy series Odd Jobs from co-creator team Mike McMahan and Dominic Dierkes (Solar Opposites).
Odd Jobs is set in the year 2127, when the world is an extreme late-stage capitalist hellscape. The show follows a reluctant team of gig-workers as they travel around the neo-Midwest, doing the weirdest most dangerous tasks the ODD JOBS app demands.
“While wandering through the wilderness, we accidentally stumbled through a portal and found ourselves hundreds of years in the future,” said McMahan and Dierkes. “We witnessed bizarre and grotesque portents about where humanity is heading. Instead of acting on those warnings, we’re thrilled to turn them into an animated show.”

McMahan and Dierkes executive produce alongside Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio, and Ben Kalina for animation studio Titmouse. CBS Studios will produce.
