The CG film, from independent director Serhan Yorganci, follows three children who learn the value of money in a world that no longer responds to taps, swipes, or shortcuts.
Independent filmmaker Serhan Yorganci’s self-produced and animated CG feature, Square Heads, is now streaming on Apple TV. Created at his self-run studio, Digitoons, the film has also been licensed to Plex, The Roku Channel, YouTube Movies and TV, and Xumo. The film is also distributed to public libraries across the United States and Canada via Midwest Tape.
Square Heads follows three children who see money as something abstract and easy, until they are required to earn every coin in a world that no longer responds to taps, swipes, or shortcuts.
“Independent projects move slowly, and there are times when you question whether what you’re making will ever reach an audience,” said Yorganci. “But continuing to work, even in small increments, allows the project to grow beyond its original form.”
The film has been selected for Cartoons on the Bay Panorama and the Ischia Global Film and Music Festival.
