The most obvious decision in animation history has just been shared as Netflix and Sony Pictures Animation announce they are moving forward with a sequel to their award-winning hit ‘KPop Demon Hunters,’ the first project under the directors’ exclusive multi-year writing and directing deal with the streamer.
Now available, the free online course, produced in conjunction with educational platform Yellowbrick and hosted by director Kris Pearn, introduces learners of all ages and levels of experience to the art and industry of animated filmmaking.
The exec will now oversee the development of ‘Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse,’ the sports comedy ‘GOAT,’ and fantasy musical ‘Kpop: Demon Hunters’ alongside president Kristine Belson.
The former CEO of Sergio Pablos Animation fills the role of retiring 20-year studio veteran Pam Marsden.
