The studio’s Canada-based VFX supervisor roster expands with former Rodeo FX supe; this follows the integration of Method Studios’ team, which recently added 6 VFX supervisors across the company’s Montreal and Vancouver locations.

Working alongside production VFX supervisor Erik Nordby, MPC VFX supervisor Pete Dionne and VFX producer Tomi Nieminen oversaw a team of around 600 artists to create more than 1,100 shots for director Morten Tyldum’s space adventure.
Along with creative title sequence and in-theater Virtual Reality experience, MPC delivers 700 VFX shots for the Sony Pictures feature ranging from CG monsters and environments to magical effects.
