Adobe has just announced an expansive set of powerful new Adobe Firefly video tools that make it easy to implement precise edits and control camera motion; the addition of new video upscaling capabilities to Firefly Boards with industry-leading partner model Topaz Astra; and the launch of the full beta of Firefly video editor, Adobe’s new creative assembly space for generative storytelling.
New Prompt to Edit controls for video allow users to remove details from generated content using text editing with Runway’s Aleph model using specific instructions. Firefly now applies changes directly to existing clips.
With Firefly Video Model, users can upload a start frame image along with a reference video that shows a camera motion to recreate.
Topaz Astra, now available in Firefly Boards, can upscale low-resolution clips and make them sharp, clear, and detailed.
FLUX.2, the latest image model from Black Forest Labs which generates and edits images with photorealistic detail and advanced text rendering, is now available in Firefly’s Text to Image module, Prompt to Edit and Firefly Boards, and Photoshop desktop’s Generative Fill.
From now until January 15, users on Firefly Pro, Firefly Premium, 7,000-credit, and 50,000-credit plans get unlimited image and video generations in the Adobe Firefly app. The promotion includes all image models as well as unlimited videos with the Firefly Video Model.
