The festive spot, styled like a 1950s stop-mo Christmas special, opens on Christmas Eve at the restaurant.
Buffalo Wild Wings has unveiled its first-ever holiday campaign, Hank the Halls, which centers on a stop-motion commercial.
The festive spot is styled like a 1950s Christmas special and opens on Christmas Eve at a Buffalo Wild Wings, where Hank and Santa share a “Pick 6” meal for two. When Santa’s reindeer get into a tussle over a chicken wing and can’t fly the sleigh, Hank steps in to save Christmas. Former SNL star Beck Bennett voices both Santa and Hank.
The brand will also drop a limited-edition Hank the Halls Blind Box ($20), which will be available starting December 10 to Rewards members. Each blind box features a felt ornament inspired by the short film.
The initiative was brought to life through a collaboration with Anomaly and HouseSpecial.
