The Hills are alive with the sound of Rebooting! Hulu has revealed the official trailer and key art for the upcoming 14th season of King of the Hill. The newest installment hits the streamer August 4.
Creators Mike Judge and Greg Daniels’ Emmy and Annie Award-winning animated comedy original ran on FOX from 1997-2009; it was picked up for a new season by Hulu in 2023.
Season 14 is set several years after we last saw the Hill family. Hank and Peggy Hill are now retired and return to a changed Arlen after years of working in Saudi Arabia; Bobby is 21 and living his best life while navigating adulthood as a chef in Dallas.
Ronny Chieng has joined the cast as the returning character Kahn Souphanousinphone, Hank's Laotian neighbor who lives with his wife Minh. Kahn is arrogant and has maintained his superiority complex towards his Arlen neighbors.
Judge, Kathy Najimy, Pamela Adlon, Johnny Hardwick, Stephen Root, Lauren Tom, and Toby Huss round out the returning cast.
From 20th Television Animation, the series is executive produced by original co-creators Judge and Daniels, as well as incoming executive producer and showrunner Saladin Patterson. 3 Arts’ Michael Rotenberg and Howard Klein also executive produce alongside Bandera Entertainment’s Dustin Davis.
