Director set to attend and talk about the production of Sony Pictures Animation’s animated sports comedy; event runs October 12-16 in Turin, Italy.
Director Tyree Dillihay will attend VIEW Conference 2026 in person this October to talk about the development and production of Sony Pictures Animation’s original animated action-comedy, GOAT.
GOAT is set in an all-animal world and follows Will, a small goat with big dreams who gets a once-in-a-lifetime shot to join the pros and play roarball, a high-intensity, co-ed, full-contact sport dominated by the fastest, fiercest animals in the world. Will’s new teammates are not thrilled about having a little goat on their roster, but he is determined to revolutionize the sport and prove once and for all that "smalls can ball."
The film hails from Sony Pictures Animation, the studio behind Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and the artists who made KPop Demon Hunters. Dillihay most recently worked alongside co-director Adam Rosette on GOAT, which is produced by Stephen Curry’s Unanimous Media.
Dillihay previously spent eight years as a director on Fox’s animated sitcom Bob’s Burgers, with 32 episodes and two consecutive Primetime Emmy nominations to his credit. His other director credits include Netflix’s Da Jammies, Fox’s Allen Gregory and MTV’s Good Vibes.
Outside animation, Dillihay has built a niche social media following on Instagram, where he combines his love of cartoons, fashion, sneakers and sports. He has worked as a content producer for brands including Nike, Converse, Redbull, Reebok and Foot Locker. He graduated from California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor of Arts in English.
