The June 26 ‘Animated for Impact: Short Films for Nature, Connection, and Action’ event aims to inspire action on climate and nature with selection of works from leading voices in animation.
Released at COP28, the short integrates stop-motion animation with real smoke, immersing viewers in a world where a young girl confronts a smoke-filled environment; experience the film and take a look behind the scenes.
Returning in April as ‘climate-friendly’ certified, the event will feature discussions on sustainability in film and media production; programming announcements include a look at animated shorts ‘A Flammable Planet’ and ‘Can’t Negotiate the Melting Point of Ice,’ and advancements of AI Rotoscoping.
