Studio teams in London and Montreal worked closely with production VFX supervisors Richard Reed and Sara Bennett to craft terrifying creatures, spectacular battles, and complex magic on the hit Netflix show’s latest season.

Watch the VFX breakdown reel; the studio delivered around 200 shots, approximately 80 featuring the Jalowick, a hybrid creature created using a combination of prosthetics, performance elements, CG limbs, and partial body augmentation.

VFX breakdown reel highlight the studio’s work on the Paramount sci-fi adventure, which required traditional matte paintings and a complete reimagining of the Boston skyline; a 2.5D approach was taken for a car chase that combined a real location with greenscreen footage.

The project, which stars Daniel Day-Lewis and serves as the directorial debut for Ronan Day-Lewis, required a monster-sized storm, a giant salmon, enhanced water interactions, and more.

The offering includes native support for Gaussian Splats, which allows users to import, view, manipulate, and render with a range of new Field nodes.
